Trump Accomplishments As President: The Ultimate List (2020)

1. MILITARY ACCOMPLISHMENT: SPACE FORCE

Trump established the sixth branch of our Armed Forces — the United States Space Force (USSF).

According to the Aerospace Security Project director at the Center for Strategic & International Studies, “It will create a centralized, unified chain of command.”

2. TAX REFORM ACCOMPLISHMENT: THE TAX CUTS AND JOB ACT

The Tax Cuts and Job Act is the most significant overhaul to the nation’s tax code in 30 years.

It slashed the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% and it provides benefits for individuals and their families.

3. CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACCOMPLISHMENT: FIRST STEP ACT

The First Step Act is a significant accomplishment for criminal justice in America because it rebuilds specific federal sentencing laws.

Why is this important?

It’s important because it:

  • Reduces mandatory minimum sentences for drug felonies
  • Expands early-release programs
  • Helps to reduce the sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine offenses
  • Offers more rehabilitation opportunities and includes provisions intended to treat prisoners better

4. NATIONAL SECURITY ACCOMPLISHMENT: DEFEATING ISIS

US-led raids helped to defeat the ISIS caliphate, including the death of ISIS leader and most wanted terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Terrorism is a serious threat to our national security and this was a big win for Trump.

5. SUICIDE PREVENTION ACCOMPLISHMENT: 988

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Data & Statistics Fatal Injury Report claims there are more than 1 million suicide attempts and nearly 50 thousand suicide deaths per year.

USA Today was one of the mainstream media outlets which broke the news that President Trump designated 988 as the National Suicide Prevention phone number.

It goes into effect in 2022 and will undoubtedly help people struggling with suicidal thoughts.

6. HUMAN TRAFFICKING ACCOMPLISHMENT: CENTER FOR COUNTERING HUMAN TRAFFICKING

7. BORDER WALL ACCOMPLISHMENT: 371 MILES COMPLETED

Nearly 400 miles of the new border wall system is complete.

The wall is a big deal.

Why?

Because it is helping to decrease the flow of illegal drugs and illegal immigration.

ILLEGAL DRUGS

U.S. law enforcement impounded:

  • 100,000 pounds of cocaine
  • 83,000 pounds of meth
  • 2,700 pounds of fentanyl

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

During Trump’s Administration, illegal immigration dropped 70%.

8. TRADE WAR ACCOMPLISHMENT: CHINA TARIFFS

BBC reported that President Trump’s tariff policy aims to encourage consumers to buy American products by making imported goods more expensive.

During Trump’s presidency, the U.S. has imposed tariffs on more than 360 billion dollars worth of Chinese goods.

9. ECONOMIC RECOVERY ACCOMPLISHMENT: RECORD GROWTH

According to CNN Business, our economy grew at 33.1% — the most massive economic growth on record for one quarter.

The U.S. has now regained two-thirds of the economic output lost because of the pandemic.

10. BLACK BUSINESSES

Bloomberg broke the story that “U.S. Black-owned firms make surprise comeback to pre-COVID level.”

There’s always more room for growth, but this was a big win after the negative impact of a global pandemic.

11. SCHOOL SAFETY

The Department of Education, in conjunction with the Department of Justice (DOJ), reversed President Barack Obama’s guidance for public school bathroom usage.

Now, transgender students are no longer able to use the bathrooms and showers of their choice.

Although this may disappoint transgender students, this makes public school bathrooms safer for most students.

12. EQUAL BENEFITS FOR FEMALES

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) updated its Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Policy.

The purpose of this USAID policy is simple: Empower women and girls to equally benefit and participate fully in the development of their communities.

The updated policy assesses the biological advantages/disadvantages between males and females.

Also, it recognized the importance of families in fulfilling their purpose.

13. SUPREME COURT

As of October 26, 2020, the United States Senate has confirmed 220 Article III judges nominated by Trump, including three associate justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 53 judges for the United States courts of appeals, 162 judges for the United States district courts, and two judges for the United States Court of International Trade.

There are currently 34 nominations to Article III courts awaiting Senate action, including 33 for the district courts and one for the Court of International Trade.

14. FREEDOM OF SPEECH

The Religious Liberty Executive Order declared liberty as a policy priority of the Administration.

In doing so, this required all federal agencies to take action to protect freedoms. The order also included guidance from the DOJ.

15. PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Yes, that’s right. President Trump makes it look easy achieving historic wins in unlikely arenas.

16. UKRAINE AND RUSSIA SANCTIONS

The U.S. Department of State explains how these imposed sanctions will help to punish chemical weapons users.

ABC News reports 9/11 victim funds to become permanent.

Without this, the $7.4 billion funds would be running out next month in December 2020.

18. TAX CUTS

Trump signed the most significant package of tax cuts and reforms in the history of our country.

In doing so, $1T poured back into the U.S. economy.

19. REAL MEDIAN INCOME INCREASE

According to the Federal Reserve’s Survey of Consumer Finances, real median incomes rose by 9 percent, for those without a high school diploma, from 2016 – 2019.

20. CORPORATE TAX RATE REDUCTION

Investopedia says, “The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was the largest overhaul of the tax code in three decades.”

It cut corporate and real estate tax rates.

This is important because a lower corporate tax rate is a significant element of improving corporate profits and creating more jobs.

Now, the corporate tax rate is more in line with the rest of the industrialized world.

21. CUTTING CUMBERSOME REGULATIONS

According to CNN, Trump removed cumbersome restrictions while protecting the environment and expanding economic opportunity for energy companies, farmers, and other commercial industries.

That’s a big statement especially considering it’s coming from CNN.

22. INFRASTRUCTURE STREAMLINING

Trump streamlined the permitting process. As a result, infrastructure projects are no longer being delayed by years or even decades.

President Donald J. Trump said, “No longer will we allow the infrastructure of our magnificent country to crumble and decay. While protecting the environment, we will build gleaming new roads, bridges, railways, waterways, tunnels, and highways.”

23. REJECTION OF GLOBALIST AXIOM

As stated by The Atlantic, Donald Trump said, “We reject the ideology of globalism” in favor of the “ideology of patriotism.”

Trump also rejected the globalist axiom that trade deals and unfettered immigration were better for Americans.

The U.S. has lost 3.7 million jobs to China since 2001, according to the Economic Policy Institute.

Trump is bringing jobs back to America.

24. REALIZATION OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

According to the Migration Policy, the Trump administration has implemented policies on a wide range of immigration issues, touching on everything from asylum to deportation policy, refugee resettlement, and admissions from the absolute majority.

According to N.Y. Post, the President recognized that unfettered illegal immigration was unfair to American workers. Trump did something about this through his “common sense approach.”

25. PRISONERS

Washington Post stated that given President Trump’s penchant for “tough on crime” rhetoric, it is still surprising for some people that the federal prison population is dropping under Trump’s Administration.

According to the Free Beacon, the number of Americans in prison has fallen to its lowest point in nearly 25 years.

26. RECORD GDP IN PANDEMIC

Trump set another record with a 33% GDP in the middle of a pandemic.

It’s a great sign that this great GDP number came out before Nov. 3.

27. EXPOSED MEDIA

President Trump exposed the mainstream media for the world to see.

With this assault on the media, he started the fight to end their corruption.

In doing so, he empowered the American people to wake up.

Yours truly,

Scott
