Boosting your immune system and your ability to fight infections is more important than ever.

According to the Center of Population Health, getting your immune system battle-ready will not happen overnight. 

Boosting your immune system takes some time. You don’t suddenly flip the switch. Plus, improving your nutrition now can yield better health in the long run.

Committing to a healthy lifestyle for the long run is important, and something I recommend to everyone, but you can boost your immune system quickly and easily by simply eating better. 

As we age our underlying health conditions increase, and our immune systems decrease, so it becomes more important to eat nutrient-dense foods. 

This increase in underlying health conditions, and decrease in immune system response, leads to something else.

Our bodies do not efficiently absorb the vitamins and minerals in our foods. As a result, you become less efficient at fighting infections.
